Grand Summer Gala

Our Grand Summer Gala is nearly here!

Over the weekend of the 17th and 18th June (Fathers Day) the railway and the picnic area next to Lakeside station will be packed with special attractions to celebrate our Grand Summer Gala.

This year we have a large selection of miniature and full size traction engines, classic cars, tractors and other vintage vehicles, a model railway exhibition, and of course an intensive service on our steam operated narrow gauge railway.

If you purchase a Gala Rover ticket then not only do you get unlimited travel on the railway, but also on the Dorset Flyer and New Forester Specials (Weekend Gala Rover only), and access to the Engine Shed and Workshop Tour at 3:00pm each day.
