One of the most popular events of the year with steam traction engines, classic cars, tractors, military vehicles, model railway exhibition and much more. The event also includes a number of special trains only open to Gala Rover ticket holders, as well as freight trains and a tour of the engine sheds and workshop.

This year we have a large selection of exhibits confirmed including miniature and full size traction engines, classic cars and vintage vehicles, tractors, military vehicles, radio control tanks and a model railway exhibition. If you purchase a Gala Rover ticket on the day then you will not only have unlimited train rides all day, but also access to the Dorset Flyer special, and our Engine Shed and Workshop tour. As a special treat for Weekend Gala Rover ticket holders purchased in advance then you will get all of the above for 2 days but also the special New Forester double reverse run on the Sunday morning.
