A chance to ride behind and enjoy visiting steam locomotives from all over the country running at our railway. This year we have 5 visiting steam locomotives attending (Peter H, Ross, Romulus, Annum Perdita and Captain Hook), running alongside our own fleet. Railway opening times are 10:30am to 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday.

If you purchase a Gala Day Rover ticket (no need to book in advance) you can enjoy unlimited train rides all day, as well as the half hourly Dorset Flyer service  and Engine Shed tour at 3:00pm. Tickets cost – Adult £19.95, Child £14.95

Our usual selection of refreshments, ice cream and hot or cold drinks will be on sale so why not make a day (or weekend) of it.
