The gift shop at Kingsmere Station offers our full range of gifts and souvenirs. You’ll find something for everyone and it’s the perfect opportunity to purchase something that will remind you of a great day out.

For young railway enthusiasts, we stock:

• A large selection of Bigjigs wooden trains
• A number of Thomas the Tank Engine items
• Engine driver hats and guards flags
• Model vehicles
• Moors Valley Railway colouring books, badges and stickers
• Story books based around five of our engines

We also stock a variety of other Moors Valley Railway memorabilia, including:

The Lakeside Station kiosk also offers a smaller selection of gifts including Moors Valley Railway magnets, fudge and biscuit selections, and a variety of children’s souvenirs.

Footplate Experience vouchers

Give a steam lover the opportunity to have a go at driving a steam engine! Our Footplate Experience days require no prior knowledge or experience and participants can enjoy a full day of tuition; learning how to prepare and run a locomotive and completing a number of circuits of the line.

Six guests are invited for a ride on the train in the afternoon with the participant driving, and a certificate is awarded on completion of the course.
