Join us this weekend!

This weekend sees our first big gala event of the year where we welcome visiting engines from all over the UK to help run the railway over the bank holiday weekend.

This year we have ex MVR No.1 Sir Goss and Mrs Darling coming from Swanley New Barn Railway, Joan from Barnards Farm Railway and Rachael all the way up from Cornwall.

We will be running the normal passenger trains, double headed steam locomotives, the Dorset Flyer and perhaps even the odd freight train. Tinkerbell and Jason will also be in steam to keep an eye on the visiting engines and make sure they behave.

By far the best way to enjoy the event is with a Gala Rover ticket available to purchase on the day giving unlimited rides including on the Dorset Flyer special.

In our 40th Anniversary year this event is your one and only chance to ride behind our oldest locomotive, Tinkerbell and MVR No.1 Sir Goss on the same day. An event not to be missed!
