Returning after a 2 year absence this is the biggest railway event of the year featuring traction engines, classic cars, military vehicles, tractors, model railway exhibition and much more.

This year our Gala will feature 8 locomotives in steam each day, full size and miniature tractions engines, classic cars, military vehicles and an indoor model railway exhibition. There will also be an engine shed and workshop tour, the Dorset Flyer, loco challenge (travel behind all locomotives* and win a prize), and on Sunday a ride on the New Forester, a double reverse run ONLY available to Gala Weekend Rover ticket holders.
