No.13 Tiny Tim

Tiny Tim

Tiny Tim was built to help operate the portable railway. Completed in 1993, it is a scaled down version of the Horton class of locomotive featuring outside frames, side tanks on the loco and a sit in tender for the driver.

The proportions are very similar to those of a Romulus, and the loco was well suited for use on the portable railway. A set of reduced height coaches in the typical Moors Valley Railway style were also built to run with the loco.

In the late 1990’s it was decided to cease with the portable railway operation and the loco was sold to a private owner.
