If you are looking for an experience with a difference for your group we regularly run trains for school groups, pre-schools and nurseries, youth groups, holiday clubs, railway clubs and coach holidays.

Whether you are simply looking for a trip on the train to privately hiring the railway for an evening we would love to discuss our options available for groups with you.

We love to welcome groups on the train so if you are in a group of ten people or more, we will offer you a discount on return journeys and can tailor your visit to suit you.

 

The Moors Valley Railway is a fantastic place to visit with a group of people. Experience the age of steam and let the train take the strain for a while. Our mile long journey offers a picturesque journey alongside the Moors Lake, through the parks play areas and gives you the opportunity to see the park from a different view.  Why not come and explore the country park and see the beautiful vistas of the forest, whilst also enjoying a memorable trip with us.

Special arrangements such as engine shed tours can be arranged by request.

Birthday Parties

The perfect birthday party for train mad children! Prices start from just £11.50 per child, including a return train ride, flag and ice cream for every party child. Look out for the personalised birthday headboard on the front of the train and at Kingsmere Station!

Take this opportunity to take a special Birthday picture next to their very own headboard on the front of a steam engine.

Snack boxes can be arranged at an extra cost and can be eaten in the Station View picnic area.
