Fun at home

Get ready for your trip or have fun on days you can’t visit the railway with stories, colouring in, puzzles and jigsaws!

Story time

Volunteer Chris reads the illustrated story book Tinkerbell Saves The Day.

The little engine in this story is a real engine and was built a long time ago by Mr. Roger Marsh.

He had a very small dog who was called Tinkerbell and he used this name for his new locomotive. Tinkerbell was the first of the many engines that you can now see when you visit Moors Valley Railway.

This book as well as other stories about engines Talos, Medea, Sapper and Jason are available to purchase at the Kingsmere Station gift shop.
