Autumn Steam Gala Weekend

Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September sees the return of our popular Autumn Steam Gala Weekend.

This year we have five visiting locos due to attend running alongside our fleet of steam locomotives* on a selection of passenger and freight trains, including the Dorset Flyer and New Forester special services only available to Rover Ticket holders. We will also be running the Loco Challenge (ride behind all rostered locos and win a prize) and at 3.00pm an Engine Shed and Yard tour.

We are also offering our Autumn Steam Gala Weekend Rover Tickets for sale in advance of the event in September. The ticket entitles the purchaser to unlimited train rides over the 2 day event including the Dorset Flyer, access to the engine shed and workshop tour, and on Sunday a ride on the New Forester, a double reverse run ONLY available to Autumn Steam Gala Weekend Rover ticket holders. The gala will feature up to 12 locomotives in steam each day.
